Brent House Carvery

Came tonight for tea. Didnt book just turned up and even though there was 13 of us we were seated immediately. Had to leave this review to say how wonderful the chap who served us our meat was. He was really friendly and was fab with my five grandchildren aged from 6 to 12 years. He had a lot of time chatting and bantering with them whilst giving them what they requested. A real breath of fresh air.....thank you

Wow! Our first time here and what a lovely experience. We were welcomed by the friendly staff and there was a great ambience. The chef was so friendly and welcomed us as he served up the meat. The food was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. I don’t know how they manage to keep everything hot and fresh. Thank you to all the staff at Brent House Carvery. We will definitely be back!

A warm greeting into a huge and comfortable seating area, friendly waitress and waiter looked after me. Very tasty and fresh food and so much meat, very tender. I was first in the queue which made me happy. Everything was super including dessert. The chairs were super comfy and the location had lots of parking.

Easily found on the A38 just outside Burnham on Sea this large bar and restaurant was a great find. Recommended by local residents and well worth a visit. Carvery was really good and reasonably priced at 12.99 per person/7.50 children. Drinks also nicely priced. Service was quick, friendly and the chef serving the meat was attentive and affable which I think is commendable when it can often lead to a production line mentality. Total bill 30.50 including a J2o and an apple juice. Staff responsibly checked for any allergies with us. Vegan and gluten free available including the desserts

Great place, never disappointing. Delicious food, fair prices, lovely scenery. Absolutely amazing inside and outside.Great quality. Massive portions . It cause me a mild existential crisis, I could not finish my cake no matter how hard I tried. Eventually I gave up and asked for take away box. Friendly staff, very clean.

The best carvery we’ve ever had! Never had such a good selection and the pork crackling was sublime! Excellent service and well priced. The desserts are to die for and big enough to share or take home. Perfect place for family gatherings. We loved it and cant wait to come back. Highly recommend for all!

What an AMAZING carvery! I don’t know how they make it so yummy and hot for so many guests! Be prepared to queue but whet your appetite as those in front pile their plates high. You think you’ll have more decorum but will end up with a massive plate full by the time you make your way along the delicious offerings! Loved the horse radish too! They don’t add too much seasoning but plenty of salt and pepper on your table to season to taste. If you like posh table service this isn’t for you but if you’re happy to queue and want a plate of delicious food, then get down there! We had to get our dessert to take away as too full to eat any more but so glad we did, the lemon cheesecake was fantastic!

Fantastic tasting food. Excellent portions of meat. Very friendly and polite staff. Best carvery I have had for many years. Excellent choice of puddings too. Well worth a visit if you are in Somerset.
